Advice: no alcohol is served here.
Their slogan is “The Food of Mindlfulness” and the Wikipedia defines this as calm awareness of one’s body functions, feelings, content of consciousness. This is a colourful place with red walls, turquoise wooden chairs and inspirational zen music playing in the background. At Dharma they have a wonderful menu filled with healthy eats such as vegi burgers, salads, brown rice bowls, roasted potato bowls, and a selection of main dishes. I had the Thai Burger ($10.95) grilled vegi burger topped with thai peanut sauce, bean sprouts, cilantro and green onions served with sliced roast potatoes (you could also have it with a salad instead of potatoes) and it was delicious.
The rest of the menu includes a selection of desserts, smoothies, teas and cocktails (mostly juices and boosters). I had their Chai Tea ($3.50) made with green tea, fresh ginger, cinnamon and spices, steamed in soy milk and brown sugar. My waiter was Conlon who provided great service and my water glass was always full.
