I recently spent some time test driving the Acura ADX 2025 in Vancouver while visiting some eateries from Kitsilano to Chinatown and around the city. I am often visiting new restaurants but this time around I visited some spots that had been around at least a few years if not longer.

Oide is located at the Waterfall Building near Granville Island and they are known for serving some of the best coffees in the city. I had a very good Cortado while Lawrence had an Americano.

Dropped by @osteria_al_centro in East Vancouver for a catchup with Chef James over the best Focaccia paired with best @oleocanthal.ca olive oil along with their Truffle Mushroom pizza that was topped with Italian black truffle.

The Stereo and audio experience ranges from “solid” to “concert-grade” depending on the trim level.

Surprisingly one spot I had not been too was Bar Gobo and when you aren’t celebrating an occasion and are just looking for a chill night out this is that place. Leading the kitchen here  is @ralph_cravalho who serves up tasty dishes, and this is a great spot where you can listen to some vinyl at this listening bar eatery.

Lawrence joined me for some zero-proof drinks and we shared these dishes starting off with the Focaccia with cultured butter, Cabbage salad with a miso dressing, their signature Oyster baked with Laing sauce and chrysanthemum, Chicken liver mousse which was followed by Delicata squash with apple salad and spruce vinaigrette.

I loved this vegan version of Pancit canton Noodles with soy calamansi, chanterelles; we then ended with a couple of their desserts; Creme caramel with hazelnut cremeux and hazelnuts; and my favourite of the two the Sticky Biko pudding with sticky rice, poached pear and caramel.

The ADX moves away from traditional physical dials, featuring the 10.2-inch Acura Precision Cockpit™ as standard across all trims.

• The Display: The “odometer” is part of a fully digital high-definition instrument cluster. It is highly customizable, allowing you to toggle between traditional round gauge layouts or a more minimalist, “bar-graph” style.
• Information Density: In addition to the digital odometer and speedometer, the screen displays real-time AcuraWatch™ safety data, navigation turn-by-turn directions (on higher trims), and media information.

Headed out on the highway to Coquitlam for a visit @pastapolocoquitlam and then enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and a Chicken pizza.

I really enjoyed the Acura ADX 2025 was a great car to drive around the city as well as the highway to Coquitlam.
