I recently spent a week test driving the Honda Civic Sedan Sport Touring Hybrid Sedan 2025 car around the city while I was out and about trying some new dishes at restaurants and cafes in the Vancouver area. This vehicle is the new flagship of the Civic lineup and it was a great car to drive around the city.

I drove to the Olympic Village neighbourhood to @restaurant.kavita (250 W 3rd Ave) is a great new addition to the Vancouver dining scene where Owner @chefttushar has created a wonderful menu of dishes from his home region and country specializing in Modern Indian cuisine.
We got an early sneak peek at their friends & family pre opening dinner where every dish was on point. Chef Tushar has assembled a great kitchen team which includes Pastry Chef @chefsankhe

We had a selection of items that included the Buns & Butter and this was so unique as the buns were banana and cumin with toasted coconut and chili butter on the side. The Bengali-style Veg Cutlet, is better described as Croquettes with kasundi (mustard chutney), five spice, and beetroot; very good.
Then the Malvani Black Chickpea Stew which I loved, in a caramelized coconut and onion sauce served with wade (fried bread) for dipping; as well as the Chicken Bhujing is another dish which I loved with flattened rice, compressed chicken and chicken rassa and we were instructed to mix it all up ourselves; this dish is from Chef Tushar’s home town. We also had an order of the Tandoori roti (wholewheat).
Steamed cheesecake (Bhaba Doi) was light and fluffy and the perfect ending to the delicious meal.

The next day I drove to North Van where we visited Canyon Frights for their annual Halloween attraction at Capilano Suspension Bridge it’s exactly where you want to experience the magic of Halloween along with some tasty treats.
The Capilano Suspension Bridge Park was transformed into a glowing Halloween wonderland filled with spooky decorations, carved pumpkins, games for kids, and family-friendly frights. We enjoyed their Sweet Potato Poutine, Mac & Cheese and more.

The car features comfortable rear seating for a couple of people.

The next day my friend Sheryl joined me for dinner @vietfamily.ca for a delicious vegetarian Vietnamese dinner with a friend with their Papaya salad, Spring rolls and Peanut and Teriyaki glazed tofu.

And then we headed over to @thecultch for Opening Night of Fire Never Dies: The Tina Modotti Project.

Exclusive to the Sport Touring trim is a 9-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in (Maps, Assistant, and Play Store). It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well. This model also features a 12-speaker Bose sound system which is widely considered one of the best in the compact segment.
Additional features include leather-trimmed seats, a 10.2-inch digital driver display, a wireless phone charger, and a power moonroof.

Visited one of my favourite hot pot restaurants in Richmond @pipinghot.bc Chocolate Taiyaki Soft Serve to finish, my favourite was the chocolate soft serve.

The next day I drove to the Strathcona neighbourhood to meet up with friends @unionmarketyvr for a tasty Matcha Pecan Latte and some baked goods.
