Most restaurants have always offered takeout, as the industry was forced to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic, dining in became dining out. When restaurants were forced to close their dining rooms they had to get creative. Some have created special meal kits others have created take condensed take-out menus and others have offered their regular menu with discounts for pick up and such.
I had to switch my almost nightly eating out in restaurants to eating takeout at home. One way of keeping your favourite restaurants in business is to purchase takeout meals now. Whether you had been dining out nightly or once a week, you can do the same from home. This is one of the ways to keep the restaurants, cafes and bakeries and such going along with their suppliers and their staff.

Here is one of the restaurants takeout offerings that I have experienced recently.
Takeout at Wara Thai Eatery
Thai takeout dinner the other night where we had a selection of tasty dishes, some favourites and some new ones.

Vegan Spring Roll
Homemade deep-fried spring rolls, cabbage, glass noodles, carrots, and salt. Served with Thai sweet & sour chili dipping sauce.

Tom Yum Soup
Traditional Thai soup, delicious and healthy, mushrooms, tomato, lemongrass, cilantro, and Thai spices, topped with evaporated milk.(with chicken)

Larb Wings
Crisp chicken wings, bathed in a house special “Larb” flavor dressing (lime juice and mixed Thai herbs), drizzled with crushed roasted rice, garnished with fresh mint leaves

Som Tam (Papaya Salad)
Hand shredded green papaya salad with tomatoes, green beans, carrot, prepared in traditional clay mortar, seasoned with tamarind, lime juice, and fish sauce, topped with fresh lettuce and roasted peanuts

Pad Thai
The original recipe, stir-fried rice noodles in a homemade tamarind sauce with tofu, egg, red onions, chives, bean sprouts, shredded carrots, Added your choice of meat or plant-based, Topped with fresh carrots, fresh bean sprouts, chives, and ground peanuts (with tofu)

Pineapple Fried Rice
Fried rice with egg, pineapple chunks, raisins, peas, carrots, onions, and cashew nuts, Seasoned with a hint of Turmeric, soya sauce, and salt, Served with sliced cucumber and cilantro

Pad Basil Eggplant
Stir fried eggplant with basil leaves, garlic, bell peppers seasoning with soy bean paste and our house special sauce. (with beef)

Pad Cashews
Mild spiced stir‐Fried with roasted chili paste, onion, celery, bell pepper and roasted cashews. (with chicken)

Fresh ripe mango on sweet coconut sticky rice, topped with roasted sesame seeds, served with coconut cream sauce
They are offering their regular menu for ordering Monday – Friday for Takeout from their website; or you can order Delivery through Door Dash, Foodora, Skip the Dishes, and Uber Eats.
