Art, Eat & Sip on Granville Island

On January 20, 2016 we presented our event as part of Tourism Vancouver for their Dine Out Festival that not only featured some of the best in food and drink but also showcased some of the Granville Island artists.  This event was a super success for all who attended and participants had a chance to visit many Island merchants including restaurants, breweries, Canada’s only Sake winery, the only BC Craft Distillery handcrafting spirits from 100% BC organic grains, a café and more!

Dockside Restaurant offered guests a tasting of their Made to Order Legendary Chili Squid.

At Studio 13 Fine Art where Alice Rich is the resident artist she was there with her associate artist Skai Fowler to greet our guests and show their paintings, she also featured a selection of nibbles and wines for people to enjoy.

At Artisan Sake Maker they offered guests a tasting of their Junmai Nama, Paillot de Chevre, SakeKasu Bon Bon – SakeKasu infused, cocoa dusted truffles made from local Coconama Chocolatiers.

Liberty Wine Merchants poured guests a selection of French wines to taste while they nibbled on breads from Terra Breads.

At New Leaf Creative Solutions, Peter was on hand to show people how he does his printmaking while David from Bon Macaron Patisserie was talking about his Macarons and serving guests a selection of Macarons.

Inside the Barbara Arnold studio she provided great insight to her paintings while guests enjoyed tastes of The Lemon Square.

At Dalbergia Wood + Fine Objects this is where artist Federico Méndez-Castro makes his fine furniture, sculpted objects and accessories in wood.

It was a wonderful night showcasing some of the best in food, drink and art on Granville Island.
