Ever since my travels through the Middle East, I have looked far and wide for Za’atar. Walking by one day, I saw what I was looking for on the menu and to my excitement I tasted the exact flavours I had been longing. I had the Za’atar ($2.95) a crisped flatbread topped with flavourful spices. I also had the delicious Manoushee Za’atar, Fatayar (Spinach, Cheese and Meat mini pies) with Fatoush Salad and Houmous. Lastly for dessert, I had the Honey Cake in rose water syrup which I found to be a bit to dry for my liking. It’s family run and almost everything is made from scratch, for those that love traditional dishes from the Middle East, this would be a good place to dine.
