With her father’s reigning bagelry business thriving, daughter Parise Siegel took the same bagel recipe rolling to upper Lonsdale. The menu is similar, the look of the bagelry is more upbeat, modern and fun. I had one of my favourite bagel sandwiches, the Lox and Cream Cheese ($9) Bagel wild BC Sockeye Salmon, cream cheese, red onion and capers. The menu is fairly simple, they have got about a dozen varieties of bagels daily, spreads, and bagel sandwiches! You will also find Smoked Meat which has been flown in from Montreal a couple times a week for the popular Smoked Meat Bagel Sandwiches. On the sweets side you will find must have Rugelach, a sweet pastry with a variety of fillings such as chocolate, raspberry and candied walnuts.

One of my favourite bagels that I ate years ago at Siegels was the Rosemary Rocksalt along with the Sesame going for #2.
