Advice: Write your name on the chalkboard to get a table.
This is my favourite Malaysian restaurant in the city and it is also my favourite location I like it for their delicious food and friendly service. On my recent visit with my friend I had the chicken satay sticks ($6 for 4 sticks) and shared the Roti ($3) Flaky layered bread with curry dip. My friend had the Assam Curry Tofu & Vegetables ($13) Soft tofu and mixed vegetables simmered in tamarind juice and curry spice with coconut cream and a side of rice ($1.50). Other dishes that I have had and cherish are the Papaya & Pineapple Green Salad with Crushed Peanut ($7) Fresh tropical fruit & green lettuce salad with crushed peanuts & grated coconut in house vinaigrette; Sambal Green Bean ($7) Stir-fried crunchy green beans with small shrimps & tomato in chili, garlic & dried shrimp paste; Boneless Curry Chicken ($13) Boneless chicken breast simmered in creamy curry with lemon grass, coconut cream. The restaurant is authentic Malaysian and due to the size of the place I usually prefer to dine with one other friend in this cozy spot in the west end.
