Experiencing Nook Restaurant in Coal Harbour

Experienced the new Coal Harbour location and it is the largest in the local based chain with 180 seats; the room has tall ceilings and a beautiful wrap around bar in the center of the room.

Tasted through several of their popular dishes that have been tweaked by new Culinary Operations Leader, Lee Cooper and tried their features which are currently on at this location and it was all paired up with some non-alcoholic beverages for us by Executive Vice President of Hospitality, Sebastien Le Goff.

I was impressed with how delicious the dishes were as well as how spacious the restaurant was in terms of layout.

Started with a couple of tasty mocktails – the Faux Spritz and Zero Proof Bellini.

1st courses:

Hamachi Crudo and a very good Cashew Kale salad (it is their vegan offering, just skip the dairy cheese that was added to ours); paired with the Prohibition Bottega zero proof prosecco.

2nd courses:

Ricotta Pizza and a delicious Collab feature Veal Cheek Pappardelle by chef Pino Posteraro paired with the Prohibition Peroni 0.0 and Athletic Brewing Upside Dawn.

3rd courses:

Roasted Half Chicken paired with Nono’s Treat.

4th courses:

Pistachio & white chocolate Parfait and their classic Tiramisu.
