Thai Cooking Class in Thailand

We participated in a wonderful Thai Cooking Class while in Chiang Mai, Thailand recently with the Thai Farm Cooking School.

We visited a local market learning about the different ingredients we were about to use. Afterwards we were taken out to their organic farm that is located an hour drive outside of the city.

We then walked through their organic farm learning about the Thai herbs and vegetables that we were about to use in our cooking class which are grown on the farm.

Each of the stations was set up with utensils and pots along with some of the ingredients were going to use in our cooking.

Each of us selected the 4 dishes we wanted to make from the selections offered and after the chefs demoed each dish, I then made my 4 dishes which were the Tom Kha Soup with tofu, Pad Thai, Khao Soi Curry and Mango Pandan Sticky Rice.

We all sat together and enjoyed eating our Thai dishes along with some lemongrass ice tea which made for a wonderful meal and evening.
