I recently spent a week test driving the Honda Civic Hybrid Hatchback 2025 car around the city while I was out and about trying some new dishes at restaurants and cafes in the Vancouver area.

I visited the Dunbar Village neighbourhood’s popular bakery café Tona that is owned by notable local pastry chef Daniel Munoz. Here at this bright and colourful café at 4321 Dunbar Street @tonabakerycafe  I had one of their delicious Concha’s paired with  an Espresso with milk.

The next day I visited one of my favourite Persian restaurants in North Vancouver @akbarjoojeh_vancouver and discovered that their location at 1604 Lonsdale Avenue now has Happy Hour from 1-6pm and since I was there around 5pm I ordered some of their Happy Hour specials that included the Eggplant dip as well as the Chicken and Veg Kebab which was delicious and a great deal.

The steering wheel frames a partially digital gauge cluster with an analog speedometer and a display that allows the driver to swap between different informational menus.

Back in Vancouver the next day I visited the East Village neighbourhood’s newly opened Mercado Panaderia @mercadopanaderia for their Vanilla concha. This Mexican bakery features all sorts of pastries, coffees and more.

Later that night I drove to the Cambie Village neighbourhood for some late night eats at Osteria Elio Volpe at 540 W 17th Ave @elio.volpe  indulging inthe tasty Roasted Mushroom pizza, Grilled Broccolini and the Sole mio sundae.

The car interior has an attractive design and is complemented by modern tech, including an infotainment system with an available 9.0-inch touchscreen that has wireless Apple CarPlay which I used frequently.

The next day I was out in Richmond seeking a cold refreshing drink and I stumbled upon Cocobay which is located at 8300 Capstan Wy #1033, and they had an extensive menu. I got one of the Classic Coconut Smoothies.

While out in Richmond I visited Athiana Acres in the Steveston area at 12800 No. 2 Rd to check out their market and since it was strawberry season I picked up some from Mandair Farms.
