admin Las Alegres Ambulancias are masters of the oral tradition based on their Afro-Colombian roots.They have been preserving the ancient sounds and stories passed on by their ancestors. The group was formed in 1905 in Palenque de San Basilio by their forefathers and are representative of the culture of Colombia’s Caribbean area. They are a living demonstration of a 500-year-old African tradition and they will get your feet moving!
