Taste of Yaletown October 17-27

The Yaletown Business Improvement Association (YBIA) is excited to announce the 15th annual Taste of Yaletown (TOY), a two week dining event showcasing unique dishes from 17 restaurants in the neighbourhood. This year’s popular dining event will showcase creativity and diversity from chefs in their menu combinations, which will be offered at set prices of $35, $45 and $55.

I had the opportunity to experience two of the participating restaurants a few nights ago trying a selection of dishes from each of their three course menus.

Baked Vegetarian Bolognese Macaroni and the Crab & Brie Stuffed Steelhead Trout

These are 2 incredible entrees being showcased on the special Taste of Yaletown $45 menu at Wildtale by Executive Chef Paco Higaredaurda Pilleta, the Baked Vegetarian Bolognese Macaroni and the Crab & Brie Stuffed Steelhead Trout.

Cauliflower Veloute

This is one of the delicious appetizers being showcased on the special Taste of Yaletown $45 menu at The Flying Pig by Executive Chef Dean Keating, the Cauliflower Veloute.
