Each summer Chop Steakhouse features their special Lobster Grill menu at each of their restaurants across Canada. As Chop is a spot that I had been wanting to try for years, I ventured in to try some of the selections off of their Lobster Grill menu at their Richmond location.
I didn’t try all of the selections they had on offer, here are the ones that I did try.
Disco Fries, a perfect dish to share, spicy Old Bay fries, topped with lobster cheese sauce, chowder & crispy bacon, indulgent.
Lobster Chowder with sweet summer corn, lobster, shrimp & scallops, in a creamy broth with fresh tarragon, this was done well, tasty chowder with chunks of lobster.
Chef’s Cut Rib Eye & Petite Lobster Tail with salsa verde, served with fresh seasonal vegetables; I loved the salsa verde sauce with the steak as it was very tasty, the lobster in some melted butter was also very tasty.
Steak & Half Lobster top sirloin, half lobster brushed with garlic butter, served with a fully loaded baked potato, this was also very well prepared, tasty meat and lobster with the loaded potato.
I also had one of their desserts off their regular menu to end off the meal. Fallen Chocolate Soufflé Cake with mascarpone mousse & fresh vanilla anglaise which was quite tasty.
The Lobster Grill menu is available through to August 28 at Chop Steakhouse locations across the country. If you wish to visit them at their restaurant in Richmond, you can find them at 10251 St Edwards Drive and call them at 604-276-1180.
