Specializing in comfort food by way of delicious house-made biscuits with all sorts of fillings. These flaky buttery buttermilk baked biscuits are the real deal and they stand in good form on their own, each of the sandwiches are a meal unto themselves, stacked with delicious fillings. The interior decor is fun with whisks hanging from the roof and the bench table seating. After a few visits, one of my favourites is still The Stoner, a fried chicken breast, on a biscuit with stone ground mustard, honey and bread and butter pickles. The C-Biscuit is another favourite with panko crusted cod, slaw, tomato, housemade tartar piled high and topped with a pickle.
The Veggie Biscuit is a standout with the ‘Beyond Meat’ patty topped with veggies and sauce inside the biscuit; the Fruity French Toast is a perfect brunch favourite or a great dessert to enjoy, it’s basically a French Toast biscuit topped with berry compote, whipped cream, maple syrup. They have got sides as well as Onion Rings and Panko crusted Portobello Mushroom Fries as well as a tasty salad to round out the offerings.
For dessert they do boast a couple of top notch choices, the Bonut as it is called is amazing, biscuit meets donut; and the Inside out Cinnamon Roll Thingy is equally delish.
This homestyle eatery serves breafast all day long so if you are a late riser or just feeling like some breaky later in the day you have got a spot that will satisfy your craving.
