The 1st Vancouver Soup Festival presented by Vancouver Foodster was a success featuring unique creations at restaurants around Vancouver. Each restaurant featured each soup creation on their menu for a week period, featuring 3 different soups in the 3 week festival, their customers voted for their favourites daily throughout.
Here are the People’s Choice winners for each week of the festival.
Week #1 January 10-16, 2019
1st place – Liquids & Solids (The Naughty Thai)
2nd place – Ban Chok Dee (Gaeng Liang Soup with cheese ice cream)
3rd place – Las Tortas (Pozole Verde)
Week #2 January 17-23, 2019
1st place – Ban Chok Dee (Green pea with chicken Ravioli soup)
2nd place -Liquids & Solids (Grandma’s Chicken Noodle Soup)
3rd place – Las Tortas (Mexican Lamb Consomme)
Week #3 January 24-31, 2019
1st place – Rhinofish Noodle Bar (Niu Rou Mian)
2nd place – Moltaqa Restaurant (Loubia)
3rd place – Ban Chok Dee (Tom Yum Hot House soup)
