Chef Samy runs the show at this secret hideway that specializes in Moroccan style crepes and dishes. After a few visits over the past few months, I have tried a variety of different dishes. The Casablanca Moroccan Couscous with Moroccan golden couscous, freshly baked veggies, seasoned chicken breast, topped with caramelized onions and raisins was my favourite of the savoury dishes; along with the Beef Tajine Crepe that was filled with beef cooked in a tajine, served with an egg on top.
He offers both savoury and sweet crepes, on the sweet side, the Cheesecake Crepe is a must try, a special house-made crepe filled with his delicious home-made cheesecake served with the popular sugar-free chocolate mousse and chocolate sauce. Another popular crepe is The Apple Pie Crepe which is made with Caramelized apples.
In addition to the crepes and breakfast specialities, I had some of their Macaroons and Madeline’s along with some of the Moroccan Mint tea.
