Me + Crepe

Deluxe Peking Duck Crepe

Created by: Me + Crepe team

Description: Our Crepe (Jian Bing) originates from the streets of Northern China hundreds of years ago. It is now one of the most popular grab-and-go breakfast you can find all around China. The original Crepe includes an egg, mixed wheat/bean flour, green onion, cilantro, and some times simple fillings like lettuce and fried fritter. Beijing Duck has been a signature Chinese dish for hundreds of years for foreigners of China. The carefully selected and raised duck is barbecued to perfection using applewood and then sliced by professional chief into thin pieces so that the skin and the meat of the duck remain in one piece.

Inspired by these two famous traditional Chinese dishes, and a little twist of Vancouver, Me and Crepe has created an unique savoury crepe dish that provides nutritional energy and deliciousness for a perfect grab-and-go breakfast. The sizzling barbecued Beijing Duck, cucumber, corn, green onion and special home-made bean paste cause is wrapped inside our traditional Chinese Crepe. The Crepe is made of mixed bean flour that is both nutritional and adds different layers of taste. An egg is then added on top of the crepe, combined with onions and cilantro, and then flipped to heat up to bring out the flavour. An choice of Chinese donut or fried fritter can be added with the Beijing Duck as a perfect partner to fill up your morning hunger.  You will be able to taste hundreds of years of the Chinese chefs’ legacy in just one bite of this uniquely created Chinese fusion savoury crepe.
