With it’s focus on Japanese French fusion cuisine, the chefs have created a wonderful menu featuring a selection of appetizers, nigiri and larger plates noted under “Kitchen” which are all perfect for sharing. Chef Alex Jin moved from Montreal to Vancouver to open this restaurant, and in my view he has accomplished what he set out to do.



Scallops Risotto

Over a couple of visits I have tried a selection of dishes including the Co&Ca, a tasty dish of corn tempura and Panko cauliflower, served with sour cream and confit tomato sauce; I loved the Gindara, a beautiful plate of grilled black cod marinated in maple syrup and soy sauce; served with fried soba noodles, kale and yuzu foam. The Scallops Risotto was delicious with Hokkaido scallops, black truffle mushrooms, Kura honey ricotta, bonito flakes and fried leeks; though I would have preferred it without the bonito flakes.

Matcha milk crepe cake

The dessert selection is small, though I did enjoy the Matcha milk crepe cake filled with red bean was delicious. I am looking forward to more visits and to trying more of their fusion forward dishes.
