I recently spent a few days test driving the red Acura TLX Elite 2017 around the city while I was out and about trying some new dishes and such at restaurants inside and outside of Vancouver.
The Fresh Window by Drew’s Catering is located in the Marpole neighborhood in South Vancouver, operating Monday – Friday for lunch, I enjoyed one of their Burger Noir short rib burgers, along with their Matcha ice cream with yuzu and black sesame.
Some of the unique features of the TLX includes LED daytime running lights, a power moonroof, power adjustable front seats, keyless ignition, plus conveniences such as hill start assist, cruise control, automatic headlights, and heated side mirrors with reverse gear tilt-down.
Rose Persian Cuisine is located on Marine Drive in West Vancouver, here I shared a couple of dishes with a friend, Fesenjoon a delicious dish with chicken, pomegranate and chicken; and the Lamb Chenjeh K-bab tasty dish with lamb, rice, grilled tomato and salad.
Gratia Bakery & Café is located out in Maple Ridge it opened 1-1/2 years ago and is now a popular full-on bakery and café that features all sorts of home-made baked goodies, breads, sandwiches, desserts and more. I had an Avocado & Cheese Sandwich, Pumpkin Cake and a Cold Brew coffee.
The interior of the Acura TLX Elite was quite sporty at least for the driver as I was faced with attractive display of driving instruments as well as the dual-screen center stack showcasing the high-tech features in the car.
Freebird is an Asian-style rotisserie chicken shack in the Public market in New Westminster, here I had a chance to try the Rotisserie chicken with papaya salad and chicken rice, Roti with curry sauce; and a Pok Pok soda.
All in all the sporty Acura TLX Elite 2017 was a great car to drive around Vancouver in the sunshine to try some great eateries.
