Focussing on Mexican eats made with healthy ingredients with vegetarians in mind, this recent newcomer has become a popular eatery in the heart of the westend.
I had the Chickpea Fritters with house-made queso fresco, line cream, and charred corn which I loved along with the Elote on the cob Grilled corn, aioli, queso fresco, and cayenne. The Queso Fundido was a fun dish, a pot of 3 cheese with tortilla chips. The cocktail list is fairly small, with one non-alchohol based beverage which is the one that I had called the Thirteenth Step made with ginger. guava, lime and soda.
As the tacos are all vegetarian, I enjoyed this selection, my favourites were the Squash Blossom taco kabocha stuffed, corn sauce, watermelon salsa; Pasilla BBQ Jackfruit taco – pineapple salsa; followed by the Fried Cheese Taco with halloumi and apple jicama slaw; and the Chile Releno taco mushroom stuffed, cactus salsa.
As I have always loved soft serve Ice cream, I was happy to see this delicious Popcorn Soft Serve Ice Cream Sundae with dulche de leche, and caramel popcorn.
