With it’s focus on French Algerian cuisine, the room boasts beautiful art and lights and each meal begins with a complementary cup of Touareg (Moroccan mint) tea. The dishes offer a selection of authentic North African Mediterranean cuisine.
My friend and I shared some dishes, and loved the Chicken Couscous, a traditional French Algerian dish with carrots and a light sauce; along with the Lamb Tagine with dates, carrots in a delicious sauce with rice on the side.
For dessert, we tried a few, my favourite was the Makmood, a traditional Algerian dessert filled with dates with hints of honey and rosewater which was outstanding; followed by the North African Qitayef Bird Nest and a chocolate date cake.
On the weekends, Fez hosts live music performed by one of the owners, Jamel who is also a songwriter, producer and singer. For an authentic North African dining experience this is one gem you are going to want to visit time and time again.
