I kicked off the Taste of Yaletown last night celebrating their 1st night of this wonderful culinary festival, tasting through several of the courses of La Pentola’s Taste of Yaletown $45 menu which features 4 courses. In addition to the delicious food from the talented Executive Chef Travis McCord, the restaurant General Manager Daniel Burke has done a great job in spiffing up the room over the past year. My server Greg had a stupendous wine knowledge offering up perfect matches of wines with our food such as the Ruche di Castagnole Monferrato (paired perfectly with the pasta) and the Ben Rye Passito (a pairing match for the desserts).

Organizers expect to see a diverse and exciting offering, with specific emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients.
