I loved the Tuna Tataki Salad with sesame and poppy crusted tuna, in an oriental vinaigrette that was refreshing with vibrant flavours. The Baked Eggplant, layered with roasted peppers, sundried tomatoes and goat cheese was flavourful as well.

Haymo has been making his own pasta for years, and here it is no exception, the House-made Mushroom Ravioli with mascarpone cream sauce was rich and outstanding. Although not a Mediterranean fish, the Mahi Mahi Livornese was very good with fresh tomato, olives, capers, pinot grigio sauce.

Lastly I finished off the memorable meal with the dense Chocolate Almond Torte topped with vanilla ice cream and raspberry coulis.

You will find some exquisite wines to match the array of dishes and flavours at this gem in the Ambleside neighborhood.
