Ban Chok Dee recently opened their 2nd restaurant in Maple Ridge, I was invited to taste a selection of new dishes from Executive Chef Parinya Lopston’s menu.
Yum Som-O (Pomelo Salad) – A Refreshingly light medley of flavours with a mixture of juicy pomelo strands, crisp jicama, crushed candied pecan and Thai herbal dressing mixed with prawns and smoked salmon. Stunning presentation and flavours.
An interactive Thai dish, filling the Betel Leaf at the table, making for tasting so many different flavour combinations, with a delicious palm sugar peanut sauce for garnishing.
