Garlic Butter Chicken Wings
Located in the heart of Renfrew Heights, it’s all about traditional Vietnamese fare at this family run eatery. My friends Kenji and Alan joined me for a whirl through their extensive menu. We all loved both the Crispy Spring Rolls with traditional Vietnamese rice paper with pork stuffing that was served with house-made fish sauce; as well as the juicy and flavourful Garlic Butter Chicken Wings.

As the restaurant isn’t yet licensed we all opted for some of the special Vietnamese specialty beverages, I had the delicious Coconut Smoothie, Alan had an Avocado Smoothie and Kenji had the Signature drink with Basil Seeds, Chia, and Aloe Vera Juice.

I loved the Lemongrass Chicken on Rice, deep fried flavourful chicken with rice, as well as the Beef Stew with carrots and vermicelli, served with bread which was perfect for dipping; along with the Chicken Curry with French Baguette.

House Special Pho with beef in traditional beef and marrow bone broth slowly cooked over 18 hrs, and was served with fresh bean sprouts, lime and Thai basil on the side. We also enjoyed an order of their Chicken Skewers; followed by my favourite dish the Dry Noodles tossed in house special sauce and topped with prawns, the noodles were perfectly cooked and full of flavour.
The menu is extensive and covers all points of Vietnamese fare including salad rolls, pho, rice dishes, salad bowls, and so much more. I am looking forward to more visits to try more of their wonderful fare.
