Reflections Reopens at the Rosewood

Last night I attended the re-opening of one of the nicest and secluded patios in the city, Reflections:The Garden Terrace in the Rosewood Hotel Georgia. Reflections is an elegant alfresco rooftop bar and lounge, located on the hotel’s fourth floor and surrounded by the storied walls of the 86 year-old historic building. With this season’s focus on the Pacific Rim, locally-sourced menu ingredients, classically-inspired cocktails, sleek teak furniture and a striking peek-through of the Vancouver skyline.

Guests mingled over pacific northwest inspired cocktails, wine and bubbly while eating a selection of Pacific Rim inspired canapés that included Lobster Rolls, Salmon, Mahi Mahi Croquettes, Ahi Tuna Poke, Edameme Hummus, and pizzas.

The roaring stone fire pit has been replaced with a tree, the patio dining area is complete with plush cushions and warming heaters for cooler nights; their are also oversized teak couches and polished tables situated by a gleaming chrome cocktail bar on one side and the kitchen with pizza over on the other side, home to an exceptional team of bartenders and talented cooks.

Reflections is open daily from noon til late. For reservations please telephone 604.673.7043 or follow the hotel on Twitter @RWHotelGeorgia
