Last night, I attended the book launch party at The Permanent, a very cool event space downtown Vancouver. Lick Your Plate is by sisters Julie and Lisa who live in Toronto and love food. They previously wrote the Bite Me book series and now comes their latest at almost 300 pages, the cookbook is filled with beautiful photos of tasty looking dishes. Robert McCullough, Publisher of Appetite by Random House published this beautiful cookbook.

Invited guests mingled over savoury and sweet bites from the cookbook including the Mini Banana Chocolate Chip Cupcakes, Grilled cheese sandwiches with fig jam, Meatballs, Spiced Fries, Sweet Potato soup and enjoyed drinks that included Raspberry Mojito’s.
