On January 23, 2016 we presented the third crawl in a series of neighborhood brunch crawls in this 3rd year of our brunch crawl series we produced and presented with Tourism Vancouver for their Dine Out Festival. This event was a super success for all who attended. Participants had a chance to visit several restaurants through-out the downtown area and taste all sorts of dishes on this unique food crawl.
Our registration spot was at Marquis Wine Cellars where everyone was served a mimosa to start the brunch tour along with a selection of Savoury Morning Pastries, Quiches and Flatbreads by Tartine Pie and Breads who are also located in the neighborhood.
Nearby, Saj & Co. served their Zaatar on their unleavened freshly baked wholewheat bread with labneh; along with a Green Protebeans Dish and Tahini Spread Cookies for dessert.
On the next block over, Truffles Fine Foods served a tasting plate filled with Mini Quiche (Broccoli and cheddar oand Quiche Lorraine); Stuffed Bioche Minis (Ham and gruyere and Mushroom, arugula and brie) and their Cinnamon Roll Bites.
Down the street, Krokodile Pear served up a selection of tasters of their juices and nut milks which followed by all the guests receiving a 16 oz bottle of the Kicking Horse Juice.
Heading to the Northern side of downtown, Trees Organic served a Prosciutto & Brie on Rustic Baguette; along with a Spinach & Feta Scone and Hot Apple Cider (non-alcoholic).
The restaurants featured many unique and tasty dishes to our guests to eat and drink throughout the event.
