Starting off with a Red Christmas Tea Mocktail and a cup of warm Christmas Jewel Tea. This is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season.
You get to choose from a selection of TWG Tea’s festive teas including the exceptional White Christmas Tea and Christmas Jewel Tea.
After my selection of tea was served, I then indulged with a selection of holiday themed savouries and sweets served on a three-tiered platter.
The savouries included were the delicious Foie Gras Mousse on “Christmas Lights Tea” Cracker, “Noel! Noel! Tea” infused Duck Breast, Amarena Cherry, Honey Tea Shooter, Smoked Salmon Rosette, Wasabi “Sencha Tea” Creme, Ponzu Gel, “Imperial Lapsang Souchong Tea” infused chicken salad, Black Sesame Basket, Wagu Carpaccio, “Dignitary’s Tea” Dijon Aioli, Brioche, Smoked Maldon.
The sweets included a wonderful seasonal lineup of delicious desserts, Dulche de Leche, Coconut and White Chocolate Truffle; Strawberry Dome, Creme Anglaise, Candied Pistachios; Egg Nog “Vanilla Bourbon Tea” Panna Cotta, Pomegranate Mousse; White and Dark Chocolate dipped Strawberry, TWG Tea Macaron, Mélange of Fresh Fruit and Freshly Baked Scones, Victorian Créme,, “1837 Black Tea” Jelly.
This special Festive Tea service runs through to the end of December and is $52 per person (minimum 2 people). Make your reservations soon and enjoy this years Holiday celebration. The Urban Tea Merchant is located at 1070 West Georgia, in downtown Vancouver.
