Healthy and consciousness are the best words to describe this botanical bar and vegan eatery in the heart of Yaletown. The focus here is on creating delicious vegetarian and vegan wraps, salads, tacos and other dishes along with good for you cocktails made with elixers and other botanicals without any alchohol.

Sit back in one of the comfy booths which is what I did and enjoy the Einstein ($8) with Carrots, Fresh Pineapple, Oranges, Ginger & Lions Mane which was my favourite of the two elixir cocktails that I tried, the other was the Garden of Eden ($8)  with Cucumber, Celery, Kale, Parsley, Lemon, Apple, and E3 Power On Algae.

I had the very good, Spiced Corn and Defried Bean Tacos ($14) with Guacamole, queso fresco, pico de gallo. I then had the Vegan “Cheese” Board ($14) which I loved with seed bread crackers, garlic and chilli almond cheese, cashew chèvre, sunflower dill cream cheese, apples, dried cranberries and dried cherries, spiced nuts. Next was the Spiced Carrot Cilantro Wrap ($18) Crisp chickpea patty, coconut roasted yam spread, raw queso fresco, cilantro chimichurri dressed slaw

For dessert they offer a couple of selections, I had the delicious and not too sweet, Seasonal Fruit Flan ($8) with an Almond crust, cashew cream, fresh fruit.

This is a great place to have a business meeting, gathering with friends after yoga or after work, enjoy live music on the weekends. I am looking forward to a return visit to try their breakfast offerings which is a new addition to the menu soon.

    GG Johnson – Bill times are 10 minutes now. We had some issues with the kitchen lay-out, however they have been addressed and corrected. I work there full time, usually from 7am until 5pm creating the items you see on the menu and in the pictures. The team in the kitchen now are efficient and motivated to make sure each and every dish is spectacular. The philosophy is, if we wouldn’t serve it to our own mother on mother-day, we don’t serve it at all — so the level of care is always there.
