This latest incarnation of Grub, is foodie heaven. Chef/owner Ling Zheng serves Farm to Table cuisine, and 95% of what is on the menu comes from her own farm in Langley. The menu changes often, based on what comes in from the farm. I dined solo, having the delicious Seared BC Scallops ($19) with a warm corn salad and salsa verde; next dish was the delicious and Vegan, Squash Schnitzel ($19) almond crusted gold nugget squash, sweet pea mash, kale and zucchini salad. Lastly for dessert, I had the yummy, Hazelnut Semi Fredo ($9) in a white chocolate soup with fresh raspberries, blueberries and strawberries!
The room is bright with the fun and colourful illustrative wall on one side. Service is efficient making for a wonderful dining experience, and it’s a place to go often to explore and enjoy what Chef Ling brings to the table from the farm.
