A charming cozy French-inspired bistro in a brick walled historic building that is over 100 years old, this bistro not only has character it has delicious food. I’ve been in a couple of times, on my latest visit for dinner I had the rich and delicious baked French Onion Soup ($9) filled with onions, broth and French bread covered in cheesy goodness. I then had the tender and perfectly cooked Duck Confit ($20) in a dark cherry sauce with green beans and whipped potatoes; and for dessert, their house specialty of the day, the heavenly Apple Walnut Bacon Cake with vanilla ice cream ($9.50).
The restaurant serves brunch daily (except Mondays) and dinner nightly (except Sunday and Monday) serving French classics along with some daily specials. This is a wonderful spot to dine on your own or on a date with your lovely companion. I am looking forward to returning for brunch one day soon.
