Advice: Reservations suggested for brunch or large parties.
A charming cozy café named after the owners grandmother in Croatia who made everything from scratch, the walls are adorned with photos from the golden days where the family had grown up. The coffee bar serves Elysian roasted espresso along with a diverse tea selection, baked goods are front and centre on the bar to tempt. They strive to make everything from scratch here where most is organic. I have visited on a couple occasions, afternoon treats with a friend to share the home-made and delicious Chocolate Pecan Pie with vanilla ice cream, along with enjoying an Espresso Macchiato ($3.50). I then returned dining solo for brunch having the outstanding Wild Smoked Salmon Frittata ($15) with dill, feta cheese and cherry tomatoes served with hash browns and fresh greens; along with one of their Cinnamon Buns ($3.50) house made, warmed with an orange glaze topped with crushed pecans.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and brunch daily, soon to serve dinner, they are licensed and you may want to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine to accompany their line-up of savouries. The desserts and baked goods are all tempting, this is a spot with wonderful ambience that you are going to want to visit often.
