Wild Sweets by Dominique & Cindy Duby produces unique hand painted chocolates with complex flavour fillings along with caramels, confections and more. I had a chance to taste several of their chocolates, caramels, and much more recently at a private session with them inside their chocolate factory/micro-store.
I loved the Honey Fruits & Nuts ‘Florentins’; along with the Vintage BTB Chocolate ‘Mendiants’; and the Coconut Streusel Salted Caramel and other caramels.
Of the 20 or so chocolates that I tried I found many favourites, some of the ones I loved include Fresh brewed organic coffee ganache & Hazelnut praliné cream ; Crispy French crêpes cookies, ancho & chili oil praline; Raspberry fruit ganache & Hazelnut praliné cream; Madagascar vanilla bean ganache & Hazelnut praliné cream; Crispy French crêpes cookies, Sichuan pepper & grapefruit zest oil praline; Red berry soft caramel & Vanilla bean whipped cream; Crispy French crêpes cookies, anise seeds & oil praline and more.
