Advice: Go early for the breakfast pastries as they come out of the oven.

Patisseries have been opening in many neighborhoods around the city, now foodies need not look further on the drive as Pastry Chef/Owner Eric Ho has recently opened an indulgent bakery cafe. Featuring an array of house-baked croissants, cream puffs and other baked goodies, you will also find house-baked breads, pastries, cakes along with sandwiches, and more. With his background as an Electrical Engineer for 13 years, Eric has always had a passion for baking and making pastries, he decided to make a career change and he took a 6 month baking program at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts.  His wife is an Accountant who took an interior design course at night and designed this beautiful café. The couple recently opened this stunning bakery café on the drive.

I visited for some afternoon treats, having the delicious JJ Bean Espresso Puff a choux pastry filled with JJ Bean espresso and custard, with a streusel top and when you order one it is actually served as two; a Chocolate Croissant and an Espresso Macchiato. I also tried the Matcha Black Sesame Slice which was delicious and I can’t wait to return for yet another slice as well as more of the espresso cream puffs. You’ll also find a full espresso bar beverage line-up, teas and cold beverages. If you like to watch bakers in action there is an open glass window to view the making of these beautiful treats.
