Summer Menu Tasting at The Bibo

Visited The Bibo last week to taste some of Chef Danilo’s new dishes and try some of Chef Marco’s new Pizzas! My friend Felix Yau joined me to share these dishes.

1st Dish:

Zucchini quite the delicious presentation, local zucchini filled with perfectly cooked risotto; a tea basil blanched tomato filled with greens and pine nuts; then zucchini filled with porcini mushrooms in sauce and lastly a fried zucchini blossom along with taleggio sauce with skinless cherry tomatoes

2nd Dish:

My take:

My main reason for visiting was to try some pizzas that Chef Marco had on his menu, he recently returned from visiting his family in Italy. He is a great pizza chef and it’s great to see him back at The Bibo. Chef Danilo is now running the kitchen, I loved his Zucchini presentation to begin. Three out of the four pizzas we had were on the menu and all were good, the Margarita Formula One was a stellar favourite by Felix and I. The fourth pizza was one that I created featuring scamorza cheese which is a smoked cheese originating in Naples, the combination of this cheese along with the porcini mushrooms, and radicchio was outstanding. The dessert platter that Chef Danilo prepared encompassed 4 of their delicious desserts.
