Locally produced shortbread doesn’t get any better than Peche Mignon. I finally had a chance to meet owners Vivien and Beng recently who are the founders of this local company that has been producing savoury and sweet shortbread for the past year and a half. Most people when thinking shortbread would think sweet, but that is a misnomer. I love their Parmesan Rosemary of the savoury ones that I tried, on the sweet side my favourite is the Cranberry Orange.

Baking artisanal gourmet shortbread and over  6,000 cookies a day in a commissary in Surrey, you can find these cookies in the bag at a growing list of grocers including Whole Foods West Vancouver and Meinhardt in South Granville. Here is a list of where you can find these shortbread cookies.
