Experiencing the flavours and dishes from Persian cuisine is always a treat. This is a restaurant that I have known about for quite some time, last week I decided to trek over to the North shore to visit their original location. The menu features a selection of popular Persian appetizers, kebabs and specialities. My friend Felix Yau joined me to share the delicious Fesenjoon Stew ($12.95) with chicken breast chunks, cooked in gourmet walnuts & pomegranate sauce. Served with basmati rice and pita. I also ordered the Sangak Bread ($2) which is one of the traditional breads in the Persian culture. To go with our meal we had a pot of their Persian Tea ($5.95).
This would be a great place to dine with a group of friends and share various dishes such as choosing a few of the Kebabs and Stews. I am looking forward to a return visit for more of the Fesenjoon Stew.
