Chef Danilo Ibarra invited me in to taste some of his Latin inspired dishes which he has added to his menu at Blue Canoe Restaurant in Steveston. Since I love Latin flavours and haven’t dined at the Blue Canoe in a couple of years, it was a treat to try some new dishes and to dine there.
Albacore Tuna Ceviche with a hint of coconut and plantain chips delicious!
Ling Cod Paella a very unique, different and delicious take on a paella with ling cod, prawns, mussels, chorizo, peppers and Saffron jasmine rice
Fish Taco loved the smoked paprika spiced fish with jicama & cabbage slaw on corn tortillas!
Chocolate Tres Leches Cake was very good with addition of chocolate to the traditional milk cake.
