Advice: open Tuesday – Saturday from 8am – 5pm.
Specializing in German baking this neighborhood eatery offers delicious treats from early morning to late afternoon with all sorts of baked goods including artisan breads and buns; authentic German pretzels and Brötchen, pies, cakes and pastries.
At lunch they offer quiche, soups and salads along with a selection of unique sandwiches on the different types of buns they bake. I have had the Wunderbar ($8.50) a Pumpkin seed yogurt bun filled with Basil and tomato pesto, tomatoes, bocconcini, balsamic reduction which was very good as well as the Wanderlust ($9) a Pumpkin seed yogurt bun filled Wild smoked sockeye salmon, capers, red onion, lettuce, honey mustard, cream cheese. I have also enjoyed one of their Pretzels ($2 each) as well a selection of their cookies. They offer a Playscapes area for children along with kid-friendly pastries such as animal shaped buns and more.
You will also find a full line of espresso beverages, I am looking forward to trying their Chocolate Streusel Cheese Cake on my next visit.
