Slightly off the beaten track you will this restaurant oasis which overlooks the marina behind the Delta Vancouver Airport Hotel, it’s situated between the Vancouver International Airport and Richmond. Although the eatery has been around for years, this was my first visit, my friend and fellow blogger Sean Neild joined me to share some dishes. We started off with a big bowl of Fresh Greens ($7) with pickled vegetables and house made balsamic dressing; this followed by some dry local Gelderman Farms Crispy Pork Back Ribs ($14) with a citrus pepper garlic rub and chopped cilantro served with their delicious house made barbq sauce. We had a few mains to share as well, loved the flavours in the Duck Confit Fettuccini ($17.50) with cultivated mushrooms, garlic, tomatoes, goat cheese and Italian parsley, also served with 2 wedges of garlic bread; followed by the Pacific Provider Salmon ($24) with toasted brioche crumbs, confit tomatoes, nicoise olives, green beans and spinach; and the Pacific Halibut ($29) with new red potatoes, clams, radishes, roasted carrots, champagne brown butter and flat leaf parsley.

As usual, I coudn’t finish off a meal without a dessert or two, I had the delicious Turtle Pie ($8) that was filled with smooth caramel, chocolate and topped with chocolate ice cream; Sean had the Goat Cheesecake ($8) in a jar with raspberry.
