Exploring Main Street Station Market

I recently visited this market for the first time, as a huge supporter of the Farmers Markets in Vancouver I have visited the Kitsilano and Kerrisdale markets in the past.

Showing off their Micro-Greens

Jane’s Honey Bees

Livan Chocolates

Rootables Chips

From sweet peppers to micro greens, from honey to cheese, from chocolate to sprouts, from baked goods to food trucks this market has it all and more!

Shopping for fresh, local vegetables and fruits at the Farmers markets has always been the best way to support your community. Vancouver is blessed to have a great organization called eatlocal.org that is the umbrella organization for Vancouver Farmers Markets. If you would like to learn more about Vancouver Farmers Markets, watch this film featuring Roberta LaQuaglia  who is the Operations Manager, she spoke at one of our Food Talks events this past June.

The Main Street Station Market is located on the 1100 Block Station Street along Thornton Park across from the VIA Rail Station and near the Main St Skytrain Station and takes place each Wednesday afternoon from 3pm-7pm thru October 6th.
