Last week I was invited in to Café Il Nido for a taste of fall, to taste some of their new menu offerings. The packed room of writers and bloggers were enjoying some of the delicious eats and sips.

I tasted the Croistini topped with roasted peppers, grilled eggplant and goat cheese and other passed around canapés.

Then what Il Nido is known for, the Pasta which is always the star attraction here, I had a plate filled with the delicious Tortellini –butternut squash stuffed, with crisp peas in a thyme cream sauce; along with the Orecchietti with warmed olive, zucchini, garlic, rosemary, and chilli oil, along with the Cavetelli with pancetta, herbs, mushrooms in a light cream sauce.
