Fried Kuey Teow
Asian comfort food, large portions and low prices, this is one of those places that gets it right which is one of the reasons they have been serving customers for many, many years out of this small space. Often there are line-ups out the door for lunch and dinner, many people stand in line and then take their food to go as their isn’t an open seat in the house. I had a new dish, Fried Kuey Teow ($5.25) fried broad rice noodle, with bean sprouts, prawns, fish cake, shredded chicken and green vegetable. This one dish was filling and hit the spot and was good value. They offer a good range of other Singaporean and Malaysian dishes including Gado Gado, Mee Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Lamb Curry Rice, Laksa and other items. Just as in Southeast Asia Hawker’s is a delight.
