This Italian style café is always buzzing with activity, the presentation of the foods, beverages and desserts is everything and here it is all so well thought out. Pane Romano (Italian bread with toppings which is very similar to pizza) is sliced to order, then weighed and served on their wooden slab serving board (clever, asides from a great presentation it is also an easy way of serving). Their sandwiches are a good size made on the delicious, rustic Italian bread, (several selections to choose, it is the grilled chicken with pesto that is the clear winner). There are soups, salads, a full Rotisseria (homemade cannelloni, lasagna and risotto). Front and center is the espresso bar, perfectly planned this is the stage where the Barista prepares the coffee beverages using the fine Caffe Umbria coffees, the Master Barista is Davide Bonamici. To accompany your coffee or tea there is a large array of tempting desserts (including cannollis, tarts, cakes and Italian specialties) there are muffins, biscotti and a large selection of gelato. There is an extensive selection of wines by the glass as well. Comfortable seating inside with great views of not only the food but of the crowd, along with a large patio outside for dining.
